Besides a magician, David Bestué has a bachelor in Biology at Barcelona University and a masters in Cognitive Neuroscience at Pompeu Fabra. He is currently doing a PhD at IDIBAPS in collaboration with the Karolinska Institute (Sweden).

Working at the Neuroscience Intitutet of Alicante, he began combining the worlds of Magic and Neuroscience by observing the effects of magic tricks on the hemodynamics of the brain. He continues to participate in informative/educational events, making complex neuroscientific concepts accessible through magic effects.
